What am I allowed to bring with me?
- Personal belongings
- Portable DVD, CD or Blu-Ray players
- Laptops
- Computer monitors
- Small stereos
What am I NOT allowed to bring with me?
- Drugs, alcohol, or any illegal substance
- Weapons, like guns or knives
- Sexually explicit movies, pornographic images, anything depicting child molestation or abuse in any form (including on electronic devices)
- Hand or power tools, and tool boxes
- Personal furniture
- Signal boosters of any kind (WiFi or cell)
- Small appliances, such as coffee makers or humidifiers
- Pets (including fish)
Do I need to pay to get help?
No! Generous grant funding covers the cost of treatment services for all of our clients.
Do you accept clients who are on Methadone or Suboxone?
Yes. We admit clients who are on medication-assist treatments such as opioid agonist therapy.
Is there a waitlist?
Our waitlist changes regularly. Please contact our Admissions team for more information.
How long is the program?
Each person has their own unique situation and experiences, but a typical stay lasts between 10 and 13 months.
Can I live at home while attending the program?
No. Our Residential Recovery Program requires that you live at our facility.
Am I allowed to work or go to school while attending the program?
No. We require you to fully commit to your recovery. After six months, you will be able to discuss options with your assigned counsellor about work opportunities, but you will not be able to participate in daytime external activities until you have completed the core requirements of the Program.
Will I be allowed to leave the premises?
Yes. When you aren’t involved in any programming, you are free to come and go. However, for the first 30 days you will need to be accompanied by a senior resident when offsite.
Does my family have to be involved?
The decision to involve family members is your decision.
