To be accepted into the residential program, individuals must:
  • be addicted to drugs or alcohol
  • abstain from drugs/alcohol for seven days prior to and during residency
  • agree to abide by agency rules
  • make a personal commitment to change
  • be able and willing to participate in group work
  • not be on prescription medication that can alter moods
  • pay a monthly residential fee (social assistance permitted)
  • be referred by a professional such as social worker, family doctor, counselor, previously attended program staff, therapist, or any other addiction recovery centre.
